We are proud to welcome the Director of Research at C4CJ, Professor Karin Wahl-Jorgensen, who will deliver our keynote address on recent research carried out at Cardiff University on the challenges faced by hyperlocal practitioners during the Coronavirus pandemic.

We are delighted to announce Richard Gurner, editor and founder of the award-winning Caerphilly Observer; Rhiannon Davies, founder/editor of the solutions-focussed community magazine Greater Govanhill; and David Floyd, Managing Director of Social Spider – a social enterprise that runs five community newspapers in London.
We also welcome Phil Creighton (Wokingham Today), Klaudia Kiss (Social Spider), Darryl Chamberlain (853 London & Charlton Champion), Natalie Bloomer (NN Journal) to take part in a panel discussion on building a sustainable future for community journalism, moderated by Phyllis Stephen, editor of the Edinburgh Reporter.
